Custom formulated masterbatches, a cost-effective alternative to pre-colored resins, offer a distinct marketing advantage to processors around the world. The benefits of using masterbatches plus natural resin versus pre-color are numerous. Processors can diminish the chance of color obsolescence, reduce inventory and storage costs, and improve delivery lead-time. Additionally, manufacturers can accelerate time to market and reduce process costs.
In order to extend these advantages to customers, Clariant Masterbatches has teamed with BASF Polymers to provide outstanding service and excellent quality utilizing the new "Colorflexx"-approach to coloration of BASF's natural Styrenic polymers.
As a select partner of BASF, Clariant Masterbatches' expertise in producing custom colors for appliance and consumer goods manufacturers is well known. Our global network of full service manufacturing facilities and sales offices is capable of providing the service levels required for successful use of Colorflexx products.
Currently, Colorflexx® is available only for customers located on the European continent.
A vast number of BASF's customers are using either BASF's Plastic Portal or BASF's World Account. Clariant Masterbatches can offer a similar functionality through its Clariant Business Center - to provide on-line support services to its customers.
