Clariant Performance Plastics' Polycarbonate molding compounds containing glass fiber, carbon fiber and PTFE lubricants are designed to provide a series of versatile compounds suitable for metal replacement in industrial, commercial, military, consumer and sporting goods applications. These compounds have been developed to offer increased strength, rigidity, dimensional stability, heat deflection temperature, chemical resistance and reduced water absorption while maintaining ease of processing, corrosion resistance, colorability and toughness.
